Taylor Mackenzie SmithTaylor Mackenzie Smith is a New York-based performer from Atlanta, Georgia, where she began her formal dance training at Norma’s Academy of Dance. As a graduate of Spelman College, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Drama with a Dance concentration, and spent one year at Fordham University, training under The Ailey School.

Most recently, Taylor worked as Associate Movement in the Broadway debut of Slave Play, directed by Robert O’Hara and choreographed by Byron Easley. She has worked as an assistant choreographer on numerous projects with Easley, including Matilda at Olney Theatre Center, As You Like It under Juilliard Drama, and Twelfth Night at Yale Repertory Theatre. Taylor’s regional performance credits include The Wiz at Theatre Under the Stars, I Dream with Opera Carolina, and Home for the Holidays at Surflight Theater.
