Melody Valdez is an NYC-based Music Director, Arranger, and Pianist. She’s excited to return to AfterWork Theater after previously working on Totally 80s and Thoroughly Modern Musicals Sing Outs! She recently returned from traveling as AMD/Keys 3 for SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical National Tour, and is involved as MD/Arranger at Paper Mill Playhouse’s New Voices Concert for Summer 2022. Additional music directing credits include Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Bat Boy, and the musical parody Scandusical. Melody has also enjoyed working with Berkeley Playhouse Conservatory and National Asian Artists Project’s Broadway Community Chorus.
