Carl Hamad-LipscombeCarl Hamad-Lipscombe is an organizational and program design strategist, attorney and advocate for immigrant rights and criminal justice reform. He currently serves as Executive Director of Brooklyn Community Bail Fund and he has served in leadership positions in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors for nearly 17 years. Carl’s been an AWT participant for nearly four years (since Sing-Out: Motown) and he has supported AWT in a number of capacities, including as an ambassador, volunteer grant writer and end-of-year fundraising campaign chair. Carl received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Brooklyn College and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
