Dance Technique 101

Each week we’ll spend the majority of the time focusing on developing proper alignment and placement through conditioning and strength exercises, stretching and flexibility exercises, and turns, kicks, and leap combinations.

We’ll spend the remaining time learning small pieces of Broadway, pop, or lyrical choreography to integrate the technique as well as practice memorization and performance strategies.

This will be a LAID BACK environment for Beginner to Intermediate performers to improve their fundamental dance technique and also build community. The extra time is built in to open the space for asking questions and receiving individualized feedback, in a true workshop fashion.

I Dream of Broadway

Let your inner theater nerd out and join us for a deep dive into a show that is currently on hold on Broadway! You’ll get to discuss and explore the history, the context, and of course, the dance!

Participants should be prepared to move and dance, sit and discuss, and most of all, learn!

Tap that Class

Imagine a fun-filled multi-level tap workshop, and you’ve got Tap That Class! Donald Garverick will spend the day breaking down the fundamentals, drilling some basics and culminating in an Intermediate/Advanced combination over the course of three separate sessions.

Join for ANY part of the day!
