Each one has a fun theme, so find the one that lights you up. It’s a weekly dance party with your best friends to your favorite soundtrack!

Oops, He Did It Again! Dance Class

Get your dance on this summer with AfterWork Theater as Leon teaches some of his most memorable numbers from past shows. Each class will start with a fun warm up and culminate in learning a fabulous combination that makes you feel fierce and invincible! All levels are welcome in this fun and judgement free space!

Act 2 Openers Dance

Now is the time to get On the Right Track, after all you don’t want to be left thinking “What Did I Miss?”! Prince Ali will lead you through Backstage Romances, teach you The Rhythm of Life and even tell you of The Bride’s Lament. So join Me and My Baby for a fun, exciting series exploring what makes us happy to get back onto the stage in the lavish theaters we call home. Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News and just say you’ll be there!

Modern Movie Musicals

Each week, participants will learn a new combination to the music of a modern movie musical. Dance your heart out to songs from musicals such as Moulin Rouge, Pitch Perfect, The Greatest Showman,  Burlesque, Enchanted, and more! Take a dive into the music and the movies and have the opportunity for a ton of interactivity and instructor feedback!

Broadway Dance

Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch! Got it? Don’t worry about it! Learn combinations from some of the most iconic Broadway musicals of all time, in a stress-free, no judgement zone!

SIX the Musical Dance

Live your Spice Girls Dreams, with the epic pop-opera, concert-musical extravaganza, SIX!!! This high energy pop/funk dance class celebrates the Broadway arrival of the smash UK hit.

Hamilton Dance

Alex Acevedo is back at it, following up on his hugely successful In the Heights Dance class with a six week series teaching us moves from one of the biggest shows on Broadway – Hamilton!

90s Dance

Learn new skills and sequence what you learn into a stylized combo. Join us as we dance down memory lane and explore the best music and dance styles of the 1990s!

In the Heights Dance

Introductory dance class featuring the music of this quintessential contemporary musical from Lin Manuel Miranda. A high energy combination of Hip-Hop, Latin Dance and Musical Theater storytelling. Bring the rhythm of this community to life in our uplifting, free spirited class!

Broadway Buffet

Get ready to bring out the jazz hands and performance faces as you dance to your favorite Broadway show tunes, break a sweat, and learn some new skills.

Refund Policy

AWT You(niversity) tuition is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Participants who withdraw more than one week prior to the beginning of their first class may receive a tuition credit (minus a $20 processing fee) that can be used drtoward a future Performance Program or AWT You Class no more than one calendar year from the start date of the initial program purchased. Participants who withdraw less than one week prior to the beginning of their first class are not eligible for a refund of any kind, will not be able to transfer tuition towards a future program, and are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of how many monthly payments have incurred at the time of withdrawal.

If a program is canceled due to extenuating circumstances outside the control of AfterWork Theater, there will be no refunds or credits issued, and the value of your unused tuition will be considered a donation to AWT for which you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
