Description
In the quiet, little village of Chipping Cleghorn, an announcement in the local newspaper causes a stir among the residents. There is to be a murder in the home of Blacklock that evening!
As Blacklock, the lodgers, and curious visitors begin to arrive, tensions mount and everyone wonders if it’s all a silly joke. However, the victim proves to be an unexpected visitor and not Blacklock or one of the villagers at all. With the arrival of Inspector Craddock, a murder investigation begins. Somewhat to Craddock’s frustration, amateur sleuth Marple (who is always one step ahead) joins. They reveal that Blacklock is due to inherit a huge sum of money, but who would stand to gain from the murder?
In this classic Agatha Christie tale of concealed identities, desperation, mixed motives, and another death, it takes a risky strategy to uncover the true identity of the murderer.

Refund/Exchange Policy
Tickets to an AfterWork Theater production are not refundable. Ticket purchasers may request to exchange tickets for another available performance date of the same production up until 48 hours prior to when their originally purchased performance begins, as long as it is also more than 48 hours before the requested performance. Please allow us at least 24 hours to try and accommodate your change request. We may not be able to accommodate exchange requests as it comes close to each performance time. To request a ticket exchange, please reach out to us via email at info@afterworktheater.org. If you want to move your ticket to an earlier date, we are happy to do this for you upon check in at the door for the earlier performance as long as there are seats available. We are unable to make any alterations to your tickets if you reach out to us after the time your originally ticketed show begins, or if the show you want to move your tickets to has already sold out.
Tickets are transferable. You are always welcome to give or sell your tickets to someone else if you are unable to go on the night you have booked. They can check in at the door by giving your name.
Please make sure you have checked in at front of house no later than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled performance time. After that time, any unclaimed tickets may be provided to other audience members and no refunds will be issued.
If a performance is cancelled due to extenuating circumstances outside the control of AfterWork Theater, there will be no refunds issued or exchanges made, and the value of your unused ticket will be considered a donation to AWT for which you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
A note about Sold Out Shows: Our shows do sell out! Additional tickets may become available even after a show has sold out, so check the page periodically! Or, reach out to the cast member you are coming to see – they may be able to help you get a ticket from someone else who is no longer using theirs. We will always take an at-door wait list for sold out shows and will be happy to sell you a ticket at the door as long as there are seats available.
