Stephanie Garace is an educator, performer, stage manager, and proud native of Astoria, Queens. She first joined the AWT community in 2018 for their bootcamp production of American Idiot and immediately felt right at home. While Cinderella was her first AfterWork production on the creative team, Stephanie’s no stranger to the job, as she was the company stage manager of the Penn Glee Club during undergrad and has worked professionally with Prospect Theater Company and the Astoria Performing Arts Center. She holds a BA in history from the University of Pennsylvania and two MsEd degrees, one in adolescent special education and one in educational leadership, from the Hunter College School of Education. By day, Stephanie is a NYC public school high school teacher on the Lower East Side, where she teaches ninth grade world history and theater.
