Sarah Hulsmann is a New York based stage manager, choreographer, director, and performer. She has been in love with all things theater since she was a young child after seeing a Broadway performance of Mary Poppins (when Mary flew over her head in the audience!); since then, Sarah has attempted to be involved with theatrical productions in every possible way possible. Over the years she has had the opportunity to stage manage, choreograph, and/or direct a variety of productions including Hello! Dolly, Oliver!, She Kills Monsters, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Next to Normal.

Sarah started her journey with AfterWork Theater in Winter of 2022 as a participant in Sing Out: Dark Side of Disney and has been obsessed with all things AWT ever since. She is absolutely ecstatic to be stage managing her first AWT production, and can’t wait to share this experience with everyone participating!
