Cardozie Jones is a director, writer, and business-owner who has been in AfterWork Theater’s orbit since it’s in inception in 2012. Since then, he’s had the privilege of directing nine AWT productions including Hairspray, Legally Blonde, West Side Story, Mamma Mia, as well as the first AWT Sing Out! and Bootcamp.

Throughout it all, Cardozie has spent his career committed to the development of more just, diverse, and inclusive spaces. He is founder of True North EDI, a consulting firm committed to supporting organizations in creating just that. He is excited to return to AfterWork Theater to direct such a seminal show as Rent that continues to inspire all of us to center love and community, and teach us that we are stronger together than when we are apart.
