Alex is a Manhattan based theater director/choreographer/teacher. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he trained with American Conservatory Theater and Alonzo Kings Lines Ballet. As a performer he has danced around the world working for Norwegian and Princess Cruises. As well as performing state with various regional companies and off Broadway theaters. More recently he has enjoyed directing and/or choreographing regional productions of In the Heights, Evita, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast and more. As a teacher, Alex has worked with studios, schools and theater companies across the country for over 15 years. His class structure and content continue to adjust throughout the years to best follow fluctuating trends on Broadway and in the industry.
