Vocal Performance Workshop (Jazz) – Virtual Attendance Option
This class is great for vocalists looking to become more familiar with jazz or musical lovers who want to gain more knowledge about the vocal jazz idiom and have a richer listening experience.
It will help you open up your voice and be fluent in the musical language of improvisation. Explore Jazz history, Jazz music theory, swing and bossa nova styles, learn the foundations of vocal improvisation (scatting), learn tunes from the great American songbook, and most importantly learn how to make a song your own.
During these 8 weeks virtual participants will have the opportunity to follow along with all of the in person classes, learn how to lead a band, and sing (and improvise) as a group. Check out our in person attendance option here!
