AWT You(niversity) tuition is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Participants who withdraw from a program more than seven (7) days prior to their first class may transfer tuition toward a future program within one calendar year from the start of the initial program purchased. Participants who withdraw within seven (7) days from their first class are not eligible for a refund of any kind, will not be able to transfer tuition towards a future program, and are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of how many monthly payments have incurred at the time of withdrawal.
Ben Boecker is a singer-songwriter, teaching artist, and voice teacher living and working in New York City. He has been an adjunct faculty at the Calhoun School as a voice teacher and pianist for 5 years, and maintains a private voice studio for all ages with students from the UWS to Brooklyn. As an NYC teaching artist, Ben has worked for companies including TADA!, City Center, Usdan Arts Camp, Wingspan Arts, A Class Act, and the Open Hydrant Theater Company (The First Equity Theater Company in the Bronx.) He has also performed as a singer and pianist multiple times at 54 Below, Birdland, and the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in NJ. Ben’s full-length musical, “Spellbound! A Perfect Musical Fairytale” won the Grand Prize in New Musical’s Inc’s 2016 Search For New Musicals. Ben is also a proud member of the BMI Advanced Musical Theater Writing Workshop and the Dramatists Guild. www.benboecker.com
