Description
Musical Theater Dance Class
Join us for an exciting class where students will dive into the choreography of beloved Broadway shows like Chicago, Oklahoma and West Side Story. Dancers will explore various styles, influenced by iconic choreographers such as Bob Fosse, Michael Kidd and Jerome Robbins. In addition to mastering moves, students will enhance theirperformance by making strong acting choices, ensuring that they convey a compelling story through dance.
*Dances may vary after the first class to gauge interest in specific shows/styles.
Schedule
This class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays between March 30 and April 20. There will be six classes total on 3/30, 4/6, 4/8, 4/13, 4/15, and 4/20. Each class will meet from 7p to 8:30p.

Location
The below locations are our most frequently used rehearsal locations, though locations are subject to change and may vary throughout the program. We also sometimes use various Ripley-Grier locations. The location for this class has not yet been determined and will be communicated to you at a later date.

COVID Safety
COVID safety protocols: Masks are always welcome! Depending on the number of people in the room and/or the size of the room, there may be some days where masks are required.
Refund Policy
AWT You(niversity) tuition is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Participants who withdraw more than two weeks prior to the beginning of their first class may receive a tuition credit (minus a $20 processing fee) that can be used toward a future Performance Program or AWT You Class no more than one calendar year from the start date of the initial program purchased. Participants who withdraw less than two weeks prior to the beginning of their first class are not eligible for a refund of any kind, will not be able to transfer tuition towards a future program, and are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of how many monthly payments have incurred at the time of withdrawal.
If a program is canceled due to extenuating circumstances outside the control of AfterWork Theater, there will be no refunds or credits issued, and the value of your unused tuition will be considered a donation to AWT for which you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
