AWT You(niversity) tuition is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Participants who withdraw from a program more than seven (7) days prior to their first class may transfer tuition toward a future program within one calendar year from the start of the initial program purchased. Participants who withdraw within seven (7) days from their first class are not eligible for a refund of any kind, will not be able to transfer tuition towards a future program, and are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of how many monthly payments have incurred at the time of withdrawal.
Nicki Shackleford Bush grew up outside of Washington, DC. She began her training at age three in ballet and tap, and went on to train at the Washington School of Ballet. Her training includes a wide variety of styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, hip hop, broadway styles, Bollywood, voice, acting and more. She graduated summa cum laude from Radford University in Virginia with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has performed professionally in theater and concert dance along the East Coast.
Nicki has had the privilege of working with, training, from, and assisting some of New York’s top teachers and choreographers such as Lisa Stevens, Richard J. Hinds, Bob Boross, and Lizz Picini. Most recently, she served as Associate Choreographer to Donald Garverick in AfterWork Theater’s production of Guys and Dolls. Nicki has experience working at premier dance conventions and studios, such as Broadway Dance Center, The Pulse, and Broadway Bound International.
Nicki believes dance should be for everyone, and has taught dancers of all ages and abilities in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, New York and New Jersey. Her choreography range includes ballet and pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, musical theater and tap. Nicki is honored that her work has been performed along the East Coast and internationally.
