It’s about time to come back from intermission! As we are thinking about “re-opening” and getting ready for our own Act 2, we hope you’ll join us for our newest dance series. You’ve done Showstoppers, you’ve done Act 1 Finales, and now – Act 2 Openers!
Now is the time to get On the Right Track, after all you don’t want to be left thinking “What Did I Miss?”! Prince Ali will lead you through Backstage Romances, teach you The Rhythm of Life and even tell you of The Bride’s Lament. So join Me and My Baby for a fun, exciting series exploring what makes us happy to get back onto the stage in the lavish theaters we call home. Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News and just say you’ll be there!
All classes will take place via Zoom | 6:30 – 8pm ET

4/5 – “Backstage Romance” from Moulin Rouge the Musical
4/12 – “The Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity

Pay What You Can Options
If $20 per class is not within your budget, please consider our Pay What You Can option of $10 per class.
Our ability to continue offering Pay What You Can options is contingent on those with the ability to pay full tuition choosing that option. If we do not have enough full priced tuition students, this may result in cancelling a class.
AWT You(niversity) tuition is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. Participants who withdraw from a program more than seven (7) days prior to their class may transfer tuition toward a future program within one calendar year from the start of the initial program purchased. Participants who withdraw within seven (7) days from their first are not eligible for a refund of any kind, will not be able to transfer tuition towards a future program, and are responsible for the full tuition amount regardless of how many monthly payments have incurred at the time of withdrawal.
Leon Glover is performer and dance/fitness instructor based out of New York City. Originally from none other than Florida, the sunshine state itself, he is a proud to call himself an alum of the Theater Division of New World School of the Arts. Having worked with kids of all ages at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts and Long Lake Camp for the Arts, he got the teaching bug and has worked with companies such as AfterWork Theater, Dance from Home and Broadway Arts Education (formerly Broadway’s Babies) just to name a few. A proud AEA member, he recently directed and choreographed AfterWork’s production of Disney’s Newsies which he hopes to resume once shows are allowed again.
